17th Century Wax Seal inscribed “Haider Ali”

A beautifully detailed wax seal inscribed with name of Haider Ali & a symbol of a fish, which is known as the symbol of prosperity. Haider Ali is the father of the infamous Tiger of Mysore, Tipu (Tippoo) Sultan. Brass face to the seal is mounted in what looks to be a coin silver shank. A rare item from the past, a must for any collector of Mysore or Tipu related relics.
