17th Century Indian Lance Pole Arm Head
A beautiful & fierce looking lance head from the Indian Subcontinent. Constructed from Wootz steel the pattern is barely visible covered by an aged even patina. The sharp diamond tip flares off into four edges separated by deep round fullers. The head has been designed to pierce and penetrate heavy armour. The gold inlay decorating the base of the lance head is still visible. In great condition considering its age and could easily be mounted onto a wooden or bamboo shaft. A true weapon of war from the battlefields of India & Persia.
