Early 19th Century Indian Matchlock Torador Musket
Indian Torador Musket from the state of Rajasthan, finely painted with traditional artwork from the region. Barrel is secured to the forestock with finely chiselled bands. Matchlock & trigger mechanism works perfectly and pan no longer has its cover. Barrel has a dark even patina. These type of muskets were heavily used on Indian battlefields as well as for hunting large game. Provenance – Stratford Armouries UK.
