Early 19th Century Northern Indian Archers Long Bow

Constructed entirely of timber and beautifully decorated in fine gold & mixed colour lacquer paint work. This type of long bow traces its routes as far back as the ancient Indian sagas and at one time was the most revered weapon in Indian culture. The bow is very strong and has been well looked after. A true rarity from the Indo Persian arsenal.
