Extremely Rare 18th Century Sikh/Northern Indian Fighting Club
A very rare Sikh/Northern Indian wooden fighting club. These weapons were highly regarded by the Sikh warrior sect, the Akali Nihaangs. There are many references of this weapon in ancient Sikh scriptures and art work. This club is in great condition and beautifully decorated with lacquer work in the traditional phulkari colours & patterns on the Punjab region. It is capped at the grip with an iron ring possibly for some sort of lanyard.
